April 22, brought us another special day, a holiday celebrating the green and blue and all the other colors this world brings us everyday. Today was Earth Day, how about that? A day dedicated to the Earth, our Earth. Our home goes through hell and back every day, wether it is human doings or environmental reasons. The fortunate and unfortunate events occurring everywhere and anywhere. This day always means something to me because I am an outside guru. I love the outdoors and being outside, depending if I am alone or in a group, no matter what I always am a happier version of myself when I am outside. Place me in the mountains, in the desert, or in the ocean, I like to take a moment to appreciate what surrounds us, that is nature of course. It is everywhere we go and personally I think Earth day should be celebrated everyday all year long, although people only take time to have sympathy for our Earth on a day that is planted within our calendars.

Today, me and a couple friends went to our favorite beach, Mesa Lane, yes the one with millions of steps. As we headed down, we got to see everyone next to us soaking up the sun on this gorgeous day. Let me just say, if you didn’t go outside today, you truly missed out. Our Mother Nature really outdid herself today, she embraced what she can do and how she can bring out the best in people. In this tough time our world is going through, I think nature is one of the best healing methods that will help us push through, along with time of course, this will take time. But we know our lives will come back to us, but no one ever said there weren’t going to be bumps along the road. We can all agree that we need to do a better job at giving back to what we have been given, this Earth, our home, our life. Wanna know a secret? We have one of each of these, One Earth, One Home, and One Life. These can all be gone in the blink of an eye, if we don’t do better, at treating people better, and treating our home and bodies better all together. I didn’t mean to get all deep in this post, but in my eyes depth makes people intrigued and to continue reading. I hope after you close your screen or exit this tab you take something away from this. Especially today, make a note to yourself about something you’ll do tomorrow on how you plan to give back to Earth, or yourself.

Happy Earth Day Everyone! Stay Tuned!
