Welcome back viewers!!! The pictures below show some moments recent, and not so recent of some great spots in Santa Barbara. Here we have Java Station, a local coffee/bagel shop in Goleta, a loving spot sort of bohemian vibe if you will where many people gather to catch up over a blueberry muffins or croissants and a latte with a stunning imprint within the fluffed cream. Anywho, while quarantine is still a major independent variable in our lives, it seems to have died down in ways. Such as, more people, even elder couples have started to go out on walks within the last week, and bigger ish groups with masks of course. Therefore, this COVID-19 has still taken a huge impact on everyones lives as we know it.

This time has gotten me to think of how much we take for granted in general in this beautiful town we get to call home. How fortunate are we to live in a place that has it all? Cities all over California and all over the globe don’t have the mountains and oceans too full access, but we do. Since we do, I’ve been trying to get my sleeping schedule back on track because quarantine has messed it up, as I think we can all agree. Earlier this week, I woke myself up for a sunrise swim and let me just say. Being up as dawn breaks open, there’s nothing like it. The feeling of being up before the sun, it is honestly like no other. If you haven’t gone to sunrise, wether you are swimming or not, So Worth It. If its been a while, I highly recommend you get your lazy butt up in the morning, thank me later. Being up before the sun, and seeing the day break into a beautiful sky full of white puffy clouds and a clean slate of blue above us, and knowing you got to see it shape into what it has become, let me just say wowza. Our earth gives us 110% everyday with its natural beauty it expresses to us everyday. We must start giving back, quarantine has made me stop and think and I’ve been starting to pick up every scrap I see in sight and give back to the environment as much as possible, because we owe it to Mother Nature in the littlest ways that we can incorporate into our everyday routines.
- Pick up trash you see laying around
- Get your sleep schedule on track
- Give back to our earth as much as you can
- Pick up a new hobby
- Take a new hiking trail you haven’t taken before
- Go to a new beach and discover a new spot
There is so much we can do for ourselves and our environment to feel better about ourselves as individuals. Start being the change you want to see in the world! Sounds cheesy, but its the truth!
